Hi, I’m Chloe
I’m a novelist, story coach and award-winning poet with over ten years of industry experience and a proven track record of helping creatives of all backgrounds tell and sell their stories.
My journey in publishing began when I left a promising career in the film industry to pursue my love of story full-time as the Creative Director and in-house editor for Tomi Adeyemi Books. I quickly discovered the secret that few in the publishing industry will tell you: the principles of creating compelling, highly marketable stories are the same for books as they are for Hollywood blockbusters. Using my experience as a screenwriter, I went on to launch sold-out writing courses, help secure six-figure television deals and edit a New York Times bestseller, but my passion remains the same: giving writers the tools and confidence they need to bring their vision to life.
I’m a graduate of Columbia University’s publishing program and hold a Masters in literature from Loyola Marymount University with an emphasis in ecofeminism. As an editor and coach, I help authors discover the magic in their stories: the spark that sets their work apart from the slush pile and keeps readers hooked from the very first page. Many of my clients have gone on to find agents, land book deals and even sell television series! Some of the artists I’ve worked with include Tomi Adeyemi (Children of Blood and Bone series), David Seidler (The King’s Speech) and the Sun Valley Film Festival.
